About Electrology.
Electrolysis is a method of hair removal designed to treat unwanted or excessive hair growth. It has a history spanning nearly 150 years and has significantly evolved during that time. The process involves inserting a fine probe (needle) into the opening of each hair follicle. This probe delivers an energy current to destroy the follicle's living part, including the bulb and the papilla, which houses the capillaries that supply blood to the follicle.
My specialization is in Thermolysis Electrolysis, which uses short-wave radio frequency to generate heat within the follicle, resulting in cell destruction. In contrast to laser hair removal, which only inhibits hair regrowth, electrolysis offers a permanent solution. It is the only method that guarantees complete hair removal and has FDA approval. However, as hair grows in cycles, multiple sessions are often required to remove all hair from an area. Electrolysis is also capable of removing light-colored hairs, which may not be effectively targeted by laser hair removal.
